Nightmares the Adventures 5: Vera the Weird Warty Witch throttles mystery and brings a chilling and dreaded fun puzzle-adventure world into existence-a boy, Victor, interlaced between cages of torturing dream monsters. While Vera the Witch spews her wretched magic and monsters to frighten Victor, you have the task of taking him through this eerie world by using your wit and some clever problem-solving to make nightmares cower in the face of reason. Psychological horror is at the point-and-click adventure's best, with suspense and actual gameplay that pulls you by the hair.

Gameplay

The game is about venturing into Victor's dreamworld where not a single-click is to be wasted. It relies much on interaction with the environment and on being straightforward with challenges. This is how you shall face your nightmarish tasks:

Inventory Management: Click on items in the environment and add them to your inventory. They are to aid you against monsters, traps, and other dangers.
Use items wisely: Drag the items you think fit on top of monsters, traps, obstacles, or dangers! Correct item usage is the key to solving puzzles and advancing in the game.
Activate actions: Clicking elements triggers all sorts of actions and reactions, often unveiling hidden monsters sent by the witch. Stay vigilant and observant!
Managing fear: Keep track and control Victor's fear level. If fright becomes too overwhelming, then the game might just throw you down as a loss. So mix courage with a bit of caution.
Explore the dreamscape: Click the arrow signs for going from one place to another in the dreamscape. New puzzles and horrors lurk in every other area.
