What Is Someone's Outside?

Someone's Outside is a horror game that petrifies one with atmosphere just like the brutal hours of daylight: Somehow, after the sun falls, one expects a deep rest. But the instant the lights go out and the power goes away, an ominous feeling creeps into one's being, as if some being is there with one! This is, basically, a survival horror. Danger could arise from any shadow while every breath could be your last warning.

How Do I Play It?

The goal is simple yet terrifying: find food and water, then get out of the haunted house before the dangers close in. To stay alive:

• Find Food and Water: Food and water are scattered around inside the house. Once you have enough sustenance, find a way out.
• Get Out of the House: After getting adequate provisions, there is nothing left to do except outrun the terror and leave the house.
• Avoid the Monster: Be wary of threats lurking in the shadows. Should they approach too closely, it'll be the end of you.
• Collect Useful Items: Items are scattered throughout the house. They may be useful for unlocking a door, crafting, or even just saving your life.

• Interact: LEFT MOUSE BUTTON (LMB)
• Camera Zoom: RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON (RMB)

Tips & Tricks

• Be Aware: Any noise could mean the monster is near. You better be ready.
• Use Lights Sparingly: Find a flashlight or any source of light, but use it sparingly; it could scare the monster away, but it also gives away your location.
• Don’t Run After You Spot The Monster: Hide instead, and wait till the right moment to move.
• Always Know Your Next Step: rushing in at this moment could spell your doom.

History

While very little is known about the actual making of the game, Someone's Outside really goes down into the annals of modern survival horror. It builds on this classic formula of isolation, resource management, and jump-scare in order to draw the player deeply into their terrifying ambience. Focusing on atmosphere and suspense puts this game above many others.
