What is Warped Reflections?

Warped Reflections is an engrossing, text-based interactive narrative, where the player steps into the role of a mysterious monster's last-minute-tongue-against-death row interview, trying to brighten or blacken that monster's story before dawn. Every choice from the player ostensibly changes the interrogation: the revelations, the emotions, or perhaps the interviews may even challenge your preconceptions of guilt or justice. A quick and intense game crafted for inkJam 2024.

How to Play

Selecting dialogue options will guide your journey through the story—the choices you make will affect how the monster responds.
Watch out! The monster's words may hide the actual meaning.
There is no traditional "win" or "loss"; it's just your choice that dictates how much of the story you unravel.

Warped Reflections was developed for inkJam 2024, a game jam targeting narrative-driven games, portrayed under significant time pressure, with the creator soliciting feedback on typos and errors as much as anything else, making it a passion interactively waiting to happen.
