What is NO SKIN?

NO SKIN is an intensely immersive action-Roguelike-Horror conceiting a player to be immersed in a dark chaotic world where the very fabric of space and time is disoriented. You, a mysterious character, who has lost his own skin, traverse through randomly generated environments laden with horrors, traps, and psychological challenges. Your prime objective? Find and collect pieces of your lost skin—each piece revealing more of the story and maybe even help you retrieve a fragment of yourself. This is no mere survival game; it is a venture into the unknown where each step may well be your last.

Game Description

The game is rather like a turn-based tactical action adventure in which all decisions weigh heavily. How does one survive such a night? Here's what you do:

Turn-Based Action: When you make movements, the game flows on that. However, each move made finishes the turn of the player. The player can use several items before their turn ends. It is worth weighing your moves.
Combat: The fight is an intensely strategic matter, whose consideration leaves no room for damage. It is possible that you choose to handle it with a firsthand weapon or shoot from a distance. Your resources, knifes, ammo, and Nightshade are really what must carry on behind the strategic barrier to keep enemies from just hurting you on your way to your goals.
Items and Resources: Items can be kept and applied to heal, improve accuracy, or deal massive damage. Resources are rare; handle them wisely.
Rogue-like Aspects: A box full of surprises where if you lose, you must begin again from the very start. Little by little, however, some progress will be remembered by the game and will be transferred in the form of items or abilities. Each game brings random events to the player; of random generation means that every run is unique.
Exploration: Moving across the land, communicating with characters, making deals, adopting unpredictable challenges. The main goal is to gather skin shards and other resources to help them on their way.

Tips & Tricks

Inventory Management: Keep track of your inventory. Not everything is useful in all circumstances. Priority should instead be given to what you can carry.
Plan your Moves: Do not rush blindly into combat. Watch your enemies and plan your own moves carefully.
Follow the Story: Pay attention to documents and events, as they will lead you to discovering the truth behind your skin loss.
Permadeath Isn't Just a Curse: Learn from each death. They are opportunities to build stronger strategies.

Even though it's a modern game, NO SKIN would trace its roots deep into the roguelike history of rigorous gameplay and powerful narratives.
