How to Play

The primary goal in Baldi's Basics would be to traverse through the entirety of the school building, collect all seven notebooks, and leave before Baldi does catch up with you. The gameplay is as follows:

Movement: Use the arrow keys or WASD to move around the school.
Looking Around: Move your mouse to look around and find hidden items or clues.
Interacting: Left-click to interact with objects, characters, and spells.

As you are collecting the notebooks, you will run into a number of other characters; each affects the game differently. Some characters will help you, and others will give you trouble. Watch out for your stamina bar as it can eat through with ridiculously fast speed, rendering you much more vulnerable to Baldi's ceaseless chase and pursuit.

Tips & Tricks

Stamina Management: Do not run around too much, as this takes away from your stamina. Rest if you have the chance to, or else use some items such as the "Energy Flavored Zasty Bar" to refill all your stamina at once.
Item Usage: Learn to use the best items like BSODA, which will stun the characters in your way, and an apple, which can be given to Baldi to slow him down, albeit temporarily.
Character Interactions: Watch out for characters such as a bully, who will ask for money; Playtime, who will slow you down; and the principal, who will put you in detention, putting you at greater risk.
Strategic Planning: Have a good look at the school layout and set your course with as few encounters with Baldi as you can.
