What is You Must Continue?

You Must Continue is a short, intense survival horror game with the player sacrificing their own body parts to get through 10 gruesome rooms. The game was developed by a small team in 48 hours during the Binghamton GDJ (game jam) with the theme "Sacrifice". It stands apart with its eerie pixel art and bold, disturbing idea.

Content Warning: Descriptions of self-harm and mutilation, along with pixelated blood and gore, definitely make this game for darker tastes. Those interested in challenges that go down a very dark and disturbing path will find this one very rewarding.

How to Play

Move: Arrow keys
Interact/Sacrifice: Z or ENTER

The objective is to survive through all 10 rooms through horrific sacrifices. Every choice costs you something from your body, literally. How much are you willing to lose to make it to the end?

Think survival: Some sacrifices hurt much more than others. Think before choosing.
Go with the gross: A discomforting design is part of the game, so embrace it.
