What Is Out of Power - 2D Horror Survival?

Heading to work, the weathered person is asked to check the wiring in an empty derelict building. Your repair(s) will in themselves be quite normal, except that some wires immediately trigger an unwelcome event and that there are certain areas, such as that corridor, that you will want to stay away from at all costs. Will you manage to remain focused on the job while a growing fear creeps inside you?

How to Play

To Walk: Use WASD or Arrow Keys to wander about the ominous building.
To Interact: Hit the E key or Left Click to interact with an object, repair wires, or open a door.
To Sprint: Should you run into the really cool running shoes, hit Shift to sprint; just keep an eye on where you are rushing to.

Tips & Tricks

Listen To The Sounds: Strange sounds can give a hint about danger—don't ignore them.
Stay Away From The Corridor: Some places are better off remaining unexplored. Follow your instincts.
Check All Wires: Not all repairs are safe. Some can cause… unexpected consequences.
Don't Get Tired: Sprinting drains energy, so only sprint to get away when it really counts.

History

Out of Power turned the classic survival horror on its head by exploiting a unique premise: laundry work gone wrong. The tension within the game stems from sheer simplicity: no weapons, just you, some tools, and an increasing sensation that something is terribly wrong. In tandem with pixel art style and atmospherics in sound design, every flicker of light or distant noise becomes ominous.
