In the Shadow of Our Moon is a gripping sci-fi horror adventure made for OtterJam 2024. You play an astronaut investigating a mysterious phenomenon: the moon has slowed its orbit and is now forever caught in a blood-red eclipse. But when a mysterious Lunar Tree erupts from the ground and destroys your base, survival becomes the focus. Scramble for supplies, find your missing crew, and unravel the dark secrets in the shadows before it is too late.
Explore the eerie lunar landscape, searching for clues in the scattered logs and avoiding whatever lurks out there in the dark. Your flashlight is your only friend—use it wisely.
🔦 Conserve Light – The flashlight drains batteries, and flares are few. Only use whens necessary.
📜 Read the Logs – Found scattered around are documents about themselves and how they tie into the lore behind what happened to you and your crew.
🚀 Keep a Head On Your Shoulders – The moon is now changed and can twist your perception and disorient you with its weird geometry and odd anomalies, so ensure you move carefully.
🌑 Watch the Shadows – There are some things that don’t want to be seen...or found.
