What is Imaginary Spectacle Parade?

Loosely described as a psychological horror visual novel with neon hues of an ostensibly average amusement park, nostalgia soon welded into surreal nightmares riddled with glitches. Along the way, disturbing imagery, existential horror, and five endings follow: The final disintegration of the fractured psyche of the protagonist. One might compare it to Doki Doki Literature Club meeting Yume Nikki with an over-the-top carnival setting.

Warning: Loud noises, flashing glitch art, gore, murder/suicide themes, and profanity are well within this game's content. Consider yourself warned—it is not your typical point-and-click adventure.

How to Play

Starting the Game: Once you click run, loosen up for a little patience; there will be a small hiccup in showing you the title screen. Double-clicking the mouse can wake it up if it stalls.
Making Your Choices: Click through the dialogue and explore the creepier attractions of the park to guide the narrative into one of its five endings.
Revealing the Endings: The decision you make, plus your attention to hidden details, might find you confronted with a bad ending, a "good" ending, or the hard-to-get true-ends.

Tips & Tricks

Observe Everything: Clues may be hidden behind glitches and uncomfortably distorted visuals.
Save Often: Are you sure about which choices to take? Some of them lock you irrevocably out of other choices.
Enjoy the Weirdness: The scary vibe is intentional—just seem to embrace it and enjoy the game's full value.

History

Being a game created by indie: no parallel back development storyline to give away, yet, proved to be a patchy love project from the hands of "nobii" with the hand-in-hand use of good-old-fashioned visual novel mechanics with jarring psychological twists.
