What is Haunted?

This is a chilling first-person horror adventure inspired by old-timey haunted house titles. You play as a somewhat unwilling real estate agent sent to inspect a dying four-story mansion, with nothing but a flickering lighter to guide him. There is a blend of spooky exploration and supernatural happenings as you delve into the sinister past of Old Man Graves and the rumored cursed urn somewhere in that mansion.

Gameplay

Explore Carefully: Walk the shadowed halls, rooms, and hidden passages of the mansion with your lighter. Shadows hide secrets—and will soon bring unwelcome company.
Solve the Mystery: Find clues about the mansion's history, the mysterious urn, and the wrath of Old Man Graves.
Make It Through the Night: Strange things are out in the dark, so stay alert, and maybe don't open that door.

Tips & Tricks

Light Conservation: Your lighter will run out of fuel at some point. Use it wisely, or you might just find yourself in pitch-black darkness.
Atomosphere: Keep your ears open for sound hints like footsteps or whispers giving you clues to a lurking danger or a hidden object.
That Stuff Counts: Check drawers, shelves, or any seemingly innocuous wall for clues or keys to another area.

Lore

Haunted is a modernized rendition of an Atari-age haunted house game, updated for 3D exploration, but still staying true to the tense atmosphere of the original. It respects retro horror while bringing fresh mechanics and immersive storytelling through the environment in relation to Cover Jam #4.

The chilling atmosphere of the game is realized with:

Synty Haunted Mansion Pack-Scary environments full of life (or death).
Father Parkinson Font- A gothic font, which stands well with this uncongenial atmosphere.
Sound design and Music coming from Krotos Audio and Kodikos, which will make even the faintest creaks and whispers go down your spine.
