What Goes around Comes Dark Deception

A first-person horror filled with adrenaline-pumping moments and action survival elements, Dark Deception wants the players to gather puzzle pieces scattered around the environment-those pieces compose fragments of one's soul, while monstrous enemies lurk in the shadows. Each puzzle piece lets in new powers and new levels; give up, and your death is sure. Will you have the instinct to run away from your fears, or will you reclaim what belongs to you?

Controls

Movement: Use WASD or arrow keys to walk around the maze-like levels.
Interact: Press the appropriate key, usually "E" or "F," to pick up puzzle pieces.
Survive: Stay clear of monsters—they're faster, smarter, and far deadlier than they seem.
Progress: Gather all choose pieces within a level to learn new skills ahead.

Tips & Tricks

Stay Alert: Killers growl before they attack.
Plan Your Route: By memorizing puzzle piece locations, you'll reduce backtracking.
Use the Environment: Use hiding spots or shortcuts presented in levels!
Don't Be Greedy: If a monster's near, choose to run away from that last piece.

The Development

Starting as a passion project inspired by the classic arcade horror games, Dark Deception soon became a cult hit for the relentless tension and addictive gameplay. The paranormal mix of Pac-Man-like collection with survival horror is one that will keep players coming back-if they dare.

Play Unblocked

Are there restrictions asking for a way out? There are plenty of browser versions where you can play (including a few on sites friendly to schools), but it's something that really should be experienced on Steam or consoles. Just remember-the monsters don't really care about where you play.
