What Is Backrooms Escape?

Backrooms Escape is a high-adrenaline survival horror. It basically throws you into the infamous endless corridors of yellow rooms, with flickering fluorescent lights and a smell faintly reminiscent of, well, mold, setting the ominous tone. Your job? The player is tasked to navigate through a surreal backroom maze swarming with monsters while drifting away from blood-thirsty creatures eclipsed in shadow. There is danger lurking at every corner, so you have to be fast on your feet and sharp-witted to pull it off.

How to Play

Movement: Use WASD or the arrow keys to move around the halls.
Objectives: Navigate through the maze, fulfill objectives, and get away from the creatures alive.
Survival: Some chilling form might grab you anytime—it is run or hide time.
Map: Evidence of your existence might lay in the map—the layout could be your guiding star to salvation.

Tips & Tricks

Keep Moving: Standing still can get you duly noticed.
Listen Closely: There are audio cues such as faint growls or footsteps that warn of threats in from certain directions.
Plan Your Route: Use the map to memorize safe paths to sidestep dead ends.
Stay Composed: You need to think clearly in order to outsmart the creatures; if you panic, then bye-bye.

A creation of the NISHAD_Games, Backrooms Escape draws upon the viral internet sensation of the "Backrooms" creepypasta. The game takes the unsettling ambiance of the original idea and layers upon it heavy survival mechanics.
