Portrait of a Ghost is an eerie atmospheric visual novel that melds supernatural photography, gothic storytelling, and psychological horror. You are Arthur Hope, a fraudster spirit photographer who preyed on grief until he starts realizing the ghosts might be real after all. With hand-drawn artwork, a retro unsettling style, and an original soundtrack, an immersive atmosphere sets in for a chilling story of deception, remorse, and paranormal occurrences.
Portrait of a Ghost features multiple endings, light point-and-click mechanics, and thematic exploration of death and grieving in this brief yet terrifying journey—that is better undertaken with a pair of headphones (and partly or completely with the lights on).
