What Is Kuzbass?

Kuzbass is the Russian take on a horror adventure, dripping with an interactive nightmare quality. Step into the shoes of Slavik, a young man visiting a remote village to attend his grandmother's funeral. But as is almost always the case, said funeral is shrouded in mystery, with no one quite sure of what is going on. An event that started with an ordinary family gathering slowly mutates into a chilling mystery of kidnappings, weird doppelgänger sightings, and life-or-death puzzles. With its creepy atmosphere and mind-bending plot, Kuzbass teeters precariously on the edge of reality and horror.

How to Play

Navigation controls are as simple as:

Move – Walk through the village and the secret lairs.
Aim/Interact – Analyze objects and use them to solve puzzles or face threats.
Crouch (Agacharte) – Hide and sneak past the danger.
Inventory – Keep track of the objects required for survival.

Exploration, reacting quickly, and stressful puzzle-solving permeate the gameplay. And one mistake can mean the death of your only sister...

Tips & Tricks

Observe Everything – Often, clues are in plain sight. Examine notes, photos, and environmental elements.
Stealth Mode – You cannot fight all threats. Use crouch mode to sidestep trouble.
Resource Management – Survival inventory is limited in terms of space. Priority must be given to items that can advance you in the game or that can sustain life.
