What is Nina the Killer?

Nina the Killer is a survival horror game that inverts the trope of escaping an asylum. You are a patient trapped in what seems like a nightmare version of a mental institution, where the lines between suffering and inflicting are blurred. The twisted doctor is after you, and your only options are submission or resistance, working with whatever is at hand. The game is tense with elements of stealth, has sparse and savage combats, and continues the trend of psychological terrors; it really makes you question who is indeed a monster.

How to Play

Movement: Use WASD to get around the creepy halls.
Aim/Combat: Use Mouse to aim your weapon (a knife, probably).
Actions:
- Hold Shift to sprint (this should be rare; noise attracts attention).
- F to interact with Something (e.g., objects to get clues, pick up weapons).
- Space to leap over obstacles.

Collect scattered pages to unearth the secrets of the asylum while either evading or confronting Nina and the doctor.

Tips & Tricks

Noise will be your enemy: Use Shift to sprint when needed, but running can alert enemies. Maintain a low profile and proximity by crouching near threats.
Knife first: Ammo is scarce - your trusty blade will be your best backup (unfortunately, in a rather messy way).
Explore: Gathering the pages will tell you the story and might direct you to ways to escape.
Doctor patterns: Learn how the doctor moves and use this knowledge to either avoid or ambush him.

While these are some made-up plots, Nina the Killer embraces the classic horror of institutional terror and moral ambiguity. Taking its chilling vibes from indie horror titles like Ao Oni and Mad Father, though it punishes you with a twist—it doesn't make you just run; it lets you decide just how far you would go to survive.
