What Is The Interplanetary Museum?

Interplanetary Museum is a profoundly philosophical speculative walking simulator placing you in a far-future setting wherein Earth, through mistranslation, has finally been subdued into an alien museum under the moniker Praxii 14. Lay frozen in time as a relic of past civilization, you roam surreal display grounds that are sublime in detail and impossible to place somewhere between history and fiction. The game asks you to think about the human legacy through environmental storytelling and faintly familiar artifacts.

Controls

Movement: Use WASD to walk through the halls of the museum.
Interact: Press E to gaze at the exhibit or trigger a narrative moment.
Camera Control: Move the mouse to look around and absorb the unsettling atmosphere.

Tips & Tricks

Take Your Time: The game has layers; a lot will be in the details. Pause to read descriptions or observe subtle environmental cues.
Try Every Interaction: Some objects are not obvious. Try interacting with those that look out of place.

The disclaimer—"any similarity ... is purely intentional"—indicates its satirical inclination, weaving real-world parallels into the speculative setting. Originally built with Creative Commons assets, the rough textures of the game add to its unsettling, dreamlike feeling.
