What Is Scape and Run Parasites?

One thrilling platformer is inspired by a famous Minecraft mod of the same name. You are an adventurer, trying to stop the parasite infestation from spreading too far into underground caves. A nice twist: accidents are worse than finishing the game. If you die, the parasites carry on their reign by using your corpse as their host; this makes going for another run even trickier. Can you contain the outbreak before it consumes everything?

How to Play

Navigate the Caves: Use agility to jump, dodge, and explore the winding underground maze.
Fight or Flee: Some parasites can be slain while others are better avoided; pick your battles.
Survive the Legacy System: Incarceration of your infected corpse from death shall impede present attempts.
Complete the Mission: Find the source of the infestation and destroy it before they become too big to handle.

That is why this standalone platformer is a conversion of the basic premise of the mod-the inescapable parasitic infection that every time you fight, it changes-from a 3D survival perspective into a fast-pacing 2D experience.
