Cheese Puff Nightmare 2: What Is It?

Cheese Puff Nightmare 2 comes off as a surreal and heavy horror game, wandering around a menacingly sinister cheese puff factory, eating bowls of cheesy snacks, while at the same time trying to get away from the unthinkable terrors. But this time, the stakes are even higher—escape from the nightmare once and for all, or get absorbed by it. With strange interview noise and unpromising arts of enemies, this sequel greatly amped up the fear and difficulty of the first creation.

How to Play

Movement & Interaction: Use the mouse to click on cheese puff bowls to eat them.
Avoiding Enemies: Each monster behaves differently; use those behaviors to your advantage to survive.
Objective: Advance in the factory by eating enough cheese puffs without losing too many lives.

Tips & Tricks

The Man: If you hear breathing, stop everything and spend the rest of the time hiding—one little sound spells doom.
Gravolith: Stay still when this entity flies by; moving or eating equals caught in a matter of seconds.
Verafiyl: If laughter reaches your ears, don't click anything while the sound is still there.
Popup: Just hover over this baddie to scare it away—don't give it time to hang around!
Breathing Monster: Shock it by clicking fast when you hear its breath to push it away.
Hallway Monster: Run. Don't look back—just spam left clicks to be safe.
Azgath: It's a rare-but-deadly kind of threat! When it's shadowing your bowl, eat fast to scare it off.

History

The original Cheese Puff Nightmare went ahead to cultivate a whole cult following because of its unsettling atmosphere and unpredictable scares. The sequel broadened the nightmare with new monsters, mechanics, and a much deeper array of psychological horror.
