Created in just 72 hours by a solo developer for the MiniJam GameJam, this short expedition sets you down the path of gathering, trading, and managing scarce supplies under shifting demands and dangers. With those minimalist black screen looks (yes, it takes a bit to load; hang tight!), Eldy is a deep and strategic affair.

Game Play Guide

Gather Properly: Base resources like Herbs, Wood, Ore, Mushrooms, and Water are gathered at the outset. After that, everything else is traded for.
Trade Intelligently: Use your gathered items for trade based on supply and demand fluctuations that occur through the transition from day to night.
Survive the Unknown: As you ascend, beware of unknown monsters and racking threats coming after you.
Gain the Blessing: Carefully accumulate rewarding resources to conquer your ultimate triumph.

Guide and Tricks

Keep it Simple: Early trade materials: Gather as many base resources as possible-they will be your support for trading later.
Take Time into your Hands: Availability and threats are bound with time. Plan accordingly in terms of day/night cycle.
Trial Trading: Some resources are less worthy than thought. Keep testing combos to find better deals.
Sit Tight: It takes a while to load (yes, it's the black screen), but it's worth waiting for!

Eldy was made in a tight 72-hour window for MiniJam GameJam, an absolute testament to the creativity and stubbornness of solo development. Despite a somewhat plain presentation, this game really is a triumph of mechanics and surprising depth, proving that truly great things really do come in small, slightly buggy packages ("T_T", says the developer).
