What is Ally?

Ally is a short atmospheric indie puzzle game launched amid emergency robots waking to a mysterious voice in an empty facility. Exercising minimal controls amidst ambient environmental storytelling, the game unfolds a mystery packed with subtle horror. Your job? Get through strange corridors, solve environmental puzzles, and learn what happened to this abandoned place while trying to avoid whatever menace is out there.

How to Play

Movement: Press W/A/S/D to move and rotate your bot
Interaction: Use the left mouse button (LMB) to interact with humans or objects
Objective: Explore the facilities, find key items, and unlock areas

Keep in mind that the game heavily depends on environmental clues—watch out for terminals, bodies, and barely perceptible audio hints to piece things together.

Tips & Tricks

Follow Your Points of Interest:
- Begin at the gray terminal between two doors
- Find the corpse lying in the monster's room (accessible through vents) to get a key
- Check out the cabinets in the top-left room and the upper-right side door (shuttle bays)
Look for Visual Feedback:
- Picking up items (e.g., keys) will display changes in the UI (such as key symbols appearing in the corners)
Stay Away from the Threats:
- Walk slowly; some places might be hiding dangers.
Pay Attention to Hints:
- Sometimes, the clickable arrows are your best bet for light help if you get stuck.

Taking a minimalist approach to design fed into a suspenseful and immersive experience that is a throwback to classic sci-fi-horror.
